Core Forms vs WS Form: Personal Versus Agency Integrations
WS Form Personal is $59 a year for one site with calculations. PayPal is Freelance. Stripe and HubSpot are Agency. Core Forms bundles those in one unlimited license.
WS Form is a visual WordPress form builder with a breakpoint canvas, 65-plus field types and a debug console developers actually use. Core Forms vs WS Form is the choice between that canvas and a plugin that keeps HTML, payments and HubSpot in one unlimited license.
I build Core Forms, so you should know. WS Form’s prices below are from wsform.com/pricing in September 2026. The Personal plan is a serious form plugin, and there are cases where it is the one to keep.
There are generally three ways people buy WS Form.
You can take Personal at $59 a year for one site, get calculations, conditional logic and spam protection, and buy integrations a la carte.
Or you can jump to Agency at $249 a year because Stripe and HubSpot sit there, and then you are paying the same neighborhood as Core Forms lifetime after one year.
But being extreme isn’t a good idea at all. WS Form is an important developer tool. It is wise to stay on Personal when the form is logic-heavy and WordPress-only, and to look at Core Forms when PayPal, Stripe, HubSpot or a second site show up without wanting Freelance or Agency.
WS Form sells a canvas. Then it sells the integrations. Core Forms sells the box.
Personal is the builder. Agency is Stripe and HubSpot. Core Forms does not split them.
Quick Verdict
WS Form is the better pick when you want a visual breakpoint builder, calculated fields and a debug console on one site, and you do not need Stripe or HubSpot yet.
Core Forms is the better pick when you need PayPal, Stripe, HubSpot, polls, licensing or headless HTML without moving to Freelance or Agency, and when every license has to cover unlimited sites. It is $59 a year or $249 once.
WS Form Lite is free and thinner. Core Forms has no free version.

| Plan | Sites | Per year | What it unlocks |
|---|---|---|---|
| WS Form Lite | Unlimited | $0 | Reduced feature set, no add-ons |
| WS Form Personal | 1 | $59 | 100-plus templates, 65-plus fields, spam, conditional logic, calculated fields, debug console, PRO actions. Premium integrations sold separately |
| WS Form Freelance | 5 | $149 | 20 premium integrations, including PayPal Checkout, Mailchimp, Zapier, Slack, Google Drive |
| WS Form Agency | Unlimited | $249 | 58 premium integrations, including Stripe Elements, HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Google Sheets, PDF, user management, OpenAI |
| Core Forms Yearly | Unlimited | $59 | Everything included |
| Core Forms Lifetime | Unlimited | $249 once | Everything included |
Personal matches Core Forms’ yearly price for 1 site, with a better calculator and canvas, and without payments. Freelance is where PayPal starts. Agency is where Stripe and HubSpot start.
A WooCommerce integration has historically been sold separately on WooCommerce.com. Do not assume it is in Agency.
The Builder
WS Form’s canvas is the reason people switch to it. Sections, columns, breakpoints, calculated fields, a debug console. It is the closest thing in WordPress to a layout tool that happens to submit.
Core Forms stores HTML. The visual builder and the code tab edit the same markup. You can paste a <fieldset> and save. You do not get WS Form’s breakpoint inspector.
If the form is a dense quote calculator with three breakpoints, WS Form Personal is the specialist. If the form is HTML you already have, Core Forms is the plugin that does not translate it into a canvas.
Payments and Integrations
This is the split.
PayPal Checkout is a Freelance integration. Stripe Elements is Agency. Authorize.Net is Agency. Core Forms has Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay and Polar in the license, webhook-verified, no plugin-side transaction fee, plus FluentCart and license keys.
Mailchimp, Zapier and Slack start at Freelance on WS Form. HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, Google Sheets, Notion, Airtable and Zendesk start at Agency. Core Forms ships native actions for HubSpot, Pipedrive, Slack, Sheets, Notion, Airtable, Zendesk and n8n in the one license. Salesforce is a WS Form Agency win. Core Forms has no Salesforce action.
Webhooks as a generic POST sit in Core Forms at any price. WS Form’s PRO actions on Personal cover a lot of “do this after submit” work without the marketing connectors.
Polls, Headless, Analytics
WS Form is a form plugin with a huge field list. Native polls as a separate object, full-screen surveys, first-party field drop-off and a REST embed for Astro are Core Forms features. WS Form can do conversational and multi-page forms in Personal. It is still a WordPress-page plugin.
Save and resume, user registration and PDF sit on WS Form Agency as integrations. Core Forms includes save and resume and user creation. It does not ship a PDF generator.

The Limits
WS Form prices are from wsform.com/pricing, dated as modified August 2026 on that page, fetched September 2026. Add-ons can also be bought separately on Personal, which this table does not itemize.

Core Forms needs WordPress 6.4+ and PHP 8.1+. WS Form PRO lists WordPress 5.5+ and PHP 7.2+.
Final Remarks
WS Form vs Core Forms is whether you are buying a layout engine or a form backend. Personal is a bargain if the form is the layout. Agency is where the bill catches the integrations Core Forms already bundled.
Do not buy Agency only for HubSpot. Do not buy Core Forms hoping for WS Form’s breakpoint canvas.
The pricing page has the Core Forms terms. The Formidable comparison is the other specialist that stops being “just a form.”
