Core Forms vs Everest Forms: Cheap Unlimited Versus a Bundled License

Everest Forms is a ThemeGrill plugin with a generous free tier and cheap unlimited paid plans. Core Forms bundles headless REST, licensing and polls. Here is which one to pick.

Everest Forms is ThemeGrill’s drag-and-drop form plugin. The free version on WordPress.org already stores entries and accepts file uploads. Paid plans are cheap by form-plugin standards, and they sell lifetime licenses. Core Forms vs Everest Forms is the choice between that low-cost builder and a plugin that also does licensing, headless HTML and native polls in one box.

I build Core Forms, so you should know. Everest Forms free is a real product, and there are sites that should stay on it.

There are generally three ways people buy Everest Forms.

You can stay on free forever for contact, files and stored entries, which is more plugin than WPForms Lite gives you.

Or you can buy Agency because unlimited sites looks cheap next to WPForms Elite, and never use the conversational or webhook add-ons you paid to unlock.

But being extreme isn’t a good idea at all. Everest Forms is an important budget option. It is wise to stay on free until a Pro add-on is required, and to compare Core Forms only when licensing, Razorpay, Polar or a form that lives off WordPress is the actual job.

Everest Forms is the inexpensive builder. Core Forms is the form backend that also sells software.

Quick Verdict

Everest Forms is the better pick when you want a free plugin with entries and uploads, or a paid unlimited license that costs less per year than most competitors at renewal.

Core Forms is the better pick when you need license keys, Polar or Razorpay, WordPress as a form backend for Astro or Next.js, or a lifetime price that is $249 for unlimited sites. It is $59 a year or $249 once.

Everest Forms is not on the Core Forms Migrate list. Plan on rebuilding, or stay.

Price at Renewal

Everest Forms shows introductory discounts. Renewals are full price. September 2026 list prices, from their FAQ, G2 listing and the WPForms comparison updated July 2026:

PlanSitesFirst year (typical intro)Renews atLifetime
Everest Forms freeUnlimited$0$0
Everest Forms Personal1about $49$69about $199
Everest Forms Plus5about $99$149about $599
Everest Forms AgencyUnlimitedabout $199$299sold on their pricing page
Core Forms YearlyUnlimited$59$59
Core Forms LifetimeUnlimited$249 oncenothing$249

Their own FAQ says Personal is all premium features on 1 site, and Agency is the same features on unlimited sites. Plus is the 5-site middle. Check the live pricing page for the intro coupon of the day. Both refund within 14 days.

The comparison that matters is Agency at $299 a year against Core Forms at $59 a year, and Everest lifetime against $249 once. Everest can still win on a first-year coupon. Core Forms wins if you keep the plugin for four years.

What Free Already Includes

Everest Forms’ WordPress.org readme is the honest free list. Entries, file uploads, image uploads, 35-plus fields, admin approval and survey fields ship without paying. An AI form builder is in free as well.

That is a working form plugin. A job application with a resume and stored entries can live here at $0.

Core Forms has no free version. A site that only needs that list should stay on Everest Forms free.

Conversational forms, webhooks, PDF, user registration and the heavier marketing add-ons sit on paid. Payments (PayPal, Stripe, Razorpay) are a paid story. Style customizer is paid.

Payments, Polls and Headless

Everest Forms takes PayPal, Stripe and Razorpay on paid plans. Core Forms has those three plus Polar, webhook-verified charges, FluentCart for carts and subscriptions, and license keys for software.

Polls, quizzes and surveys appear as Everest Pro add-ons in their marketing. Core Forms ships polls as their own object, with scheduling and live results, and surveys as forms that can go full-screen, in the one license.

Headless REST is a Core Forms feature. Everest Forms is a WordPress-page builder. If the marketing site is Astro, the form backend path is Core Forms.

First-party field drop-off analytics, inbox replies and form scheduling by overnight window are in Core Forms. Everest has an analytics add-on on paid.

When to Pick Everest Forms

  • You want free with entries and uploads. Stay on free.
  • You want the cheapest unlimited paid plan and you do not need licensing or headless HTML.
  • You already live in ThemeGrill products and want the same vendor.

When to Pick Core Forms

  • You sell plugins, themes or downloads with activations.
  • You need Polar, FluentCart or a form that posts from another origin.
  • You want polls, full-screen surveys and webhooks without shopping add-ons.
  • You write HTML and want the code tab.

There is no Everest Forms importer on Core Forms > Migrate. Contact Form 7, Gravity Forms, WPForms, Fluent Forms, Ninja Forms and Formidable Forms do import.

The Limits

Everest prices move with holidays. The $69 / $149 / $299 renewal figures are the ones to plan on. Intro coupons are not a plan.

This is a researched comparison of public pages in September 2026, not a speed test.

Core Forms needs WordPress 6.4+ and PHP 8.1+. Everest Forms runs on a wider range of stacks.

Final Remarks

Everest Forms vs Core Forms is whether cheap and free-with-uploads is the whole brief. If it is, stay. If the form has to sell software or live on a static host, the $59 license is the smaller number over time.

The pricing page has the Core Forms terms. The Ninja Forms comparison is the other inexpensive add-on ladder.
