Connect a Core Form directly to Mailchimp with Subscribe to Mailchimp (API). Enter an API key and audience ID, map the email field, and choose how new contacts subscribe.
The existing MC4WP-based Mailchimp action is still available for sites that already use it. The new API action works independently and keeps existing subscription statuses intact.

Add the API action
Open your form, choose Actions, then Subscribe to Mailchimp (API).

Enter your complete Mailchimp API key and audience ID.

Choose the email field, optional name fields and any required audience merge fields.

Save the form
Save the form, then test with your own address. Enable background processing if you want eligible failures retried.
