Intelligent Inserter helps you find a field without knowing its HTML type. Search website to find Website / URL, mobile to find Phone, or surname to find Last Name.
Choose a preset and Core Forms fills in its label, field name and relevant autofill settings. Name and Full Name each create a single text input. Phone uses a telephone input, while postal codes remain text so letters and leading zeros survive.

How it works in Core Forms
Ready-configured contact fields
Insert Name, Full Name, First Name, Last Name, Phone, Email, Website, Company, Job Title, Subject, Message and individual address fields.
Meaningful field names
A Full Name field starts as full_name. Adding another creates full_name_2 without renaming existing fields or changing their submission keys.
One inserter in both places
Use the same search at the form level or inside a container. Fields join the active step, and container search stays within the canvas on smaller screens.
Keyboard access
Search receives focus when the panel opens. Arrow keys move through results, Enter inserts a field and Escape closes the panel.
Editable defaults
Change the label, name and attributes afterward. Those edits survive saving, duplication and Code/Visual changes. New contact presets are optional; Email retains its existing required default.

Open Intelligent Inserter
In the React visual builder, select the + button or Add field inside a container.

Search in familiar words
Try website, mobile, business name, feedback or pin code. The matching field presets appear in relevance order.

Insert and adjust
Select a result, check its label and required setting in the inspector, then save the form. Each preset inserts only the field you chose.
